Leadership Academics and Training (All Grade Levels K-12)
Week 1-3
Week 1-3 presents leadership education with group instruction, hands-on learning, and outdoor adventures. This introduction to basic leadership focuses on the core values of honor, integrity, responsibility, loyalty, and selfless service motivating students and allowing them to add “leadership training” to their resumes and college applications. Week 4-6 Students learn to focus on achievement as they work to overcome educational, physical and mental challenges while developing self-confidence as leaders and contributing team members. Week 5-8 During the final three weeks of the program, students focus on more advanced citizenship skills while continuing their development as self-confident team members. Designed for motivated students, QTD provides participants over 250 hours of Leadership Education and Training throughout the summer. During the eight-week course, successful participants will overcome many educational, physical and mental team challenges while developing self-confidence as leaders and active contributing team members. |
Leadership Development Program (Middle School and High School)
Providing leadership instruction and opportunities that build a solid foundation for your student's future, the QTD Summer Leadership Program is designed for middle school and high school students beginning to explore their leadership potential. Specifically dedicated to those who are interested in developing new or enhancing existing leadership skills this training presents formal leadership training through classroom instruction, community projects, and hands-on experiential learning opportunities.
Students will attain invaluable life skills while taking part in group lessons, recreation activities, and experiential team challenges promoting the development of self-confidence, accountability, discipline, respect, and other traits that set the foundations of success. Participants with ZERO Leadership Background This “Introduction to Leadership” program is designed for middle school and high school students interested in exploring their leadership potential and enhancing existing leadership skills while learning the fundamentals of citizenship. Students pick up invaluable life skills through fun activities and adventure-based challenges that reinforce teamwork, accountability, discipline, respect, and other traits, setting their foundation for success. For Our Over Achievers This level of training consists of a more advanced curriculum in leadership combined with an introduction to subjects that will help prepare students for high school and college. As with all leadership programs at QTD, this particular program focuses on the Core Values of Honor, Integrity, Responsibility, Loyalty, and Selfless Service.
